Hong Kong Football Club is one of Asia’s most distinguished and well-respected sporting clubs. With a one hundred-year plus history the club has been host to some of Asia’s most popular sports events including the HKFC International Soccer Sevens and the GFI Rugby Teens. Did you also know that the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens started out at HKFC in 1976 where it was hosted until 1982 when it moved to the Government Stadium, which was later redeveloped into what we now know as Hong Kong Stadium, seating crowds of 40,000.
